Better Community Engagement
Residents deserve clear communication, early consultation, and meaningful opportunities to provide input.
Thoughtful, balanced leadership that listens first, asks hard questions, and works for the people of Cowichan Bay and CVRD Electoral Area D.
Our community is strongest when people feel heard, respected, and properly represented.
I am running because our community deserves leadership that is practical, accountable, and engaged with residents. Decisions made at the regional level impact families, businesses, farms, rural property owners, and the future character of Cowichan Bay.
I believe people should be properly informed and genuinely consulted before major decisions are made. Community engagement should be meaningful, transparent, and respectful.
My goal is to bring calm, balanced leadership to the CVRD board table while standing up for fairness, accountability, and common-sense decision making.
Joining me as my Alternate Director candidate is Lisa Gruosso — a respected Cowichan Bay resident, local farmer, mother, and financial management professional.Practical local priorities grounded in fairness, accountability, and community voice.
Residents deserve clear communication, early consultation, and meaningful opportunities to provide input.
Growth, zoning, farming, housing, and environmental protection should be approached with balance and common sense.
Taxpayers deserve careful oversight, responsible spending, and transparency from local government.
Regulations should be reasonable, understandable, and developed with respect for residents.
Cowichan Bay’s rural charm, waterfront, farms, and local businesses are worth protecting.
Good governance requires asking questions, reviewing facts, listening carefully, and making responsible decisions.
Andrew brings practical leadership, operational experience, and a commitment to responsible decision-making.
